30 overs max Lashings World XI 223 for 3 (Tendulkar 101 ret, de Silva 100*) beat Taunton School Invitational XI 197 (J Cooper 52, Connor 5-36) Sachin Tendulkar scored his third century in four matches for Lashings as he and Aravinda de Silva formed the backbone of the 26-run victory against Taunton School Invitational XI. Tendulkar, who had scored 155, 147 and 98 in earlier games, smashed 101 off just 68 balls before retiring. He added 186 for the second wicket with Aravinda de Silva, who remained unbeaten on 100, as Lashings piled up 223 in 30 overs. In reply, Taunton School Invitational XI were restricted to 197 for 9 with J Cooper top-scoring with 52 and Clare Connor, the former England women's captain, taking 5 for 36 for Lashings. © Cricinfo
